I can not get my PC running windows 7 to recognize an airport express

I have an airport extreme and want to network and airport express to it. I am using a PC operating Windows 7. In the Airport Utility I see the Airport Extreme but not the Express. I tried resetting the express. It is located in the same room as the Airport Extreme but is still in not connecting.

What exact models are both your AirPort Extreme and Express? Regardless, try temporarily connecting the Express to the Extreme using an Ethernet cable. Can the AirPort Utility see both of them now?
