I can't find the Java download to install so I can run Photoshop again. The last upgrade of my operating system disabled it.

Installing a new OS, or reinstalling the current one always removes Apple's Java 6. Installing Oracle's Java 8 (current) won't help at all. You need to reinstall Apple's Java 6.

Hi, thanks, I do download it but then I can't find it on my computer to install it. Where would it be. It's not on my desktop.
By default, downloaded files go to the Downloads folder within your user account. From the desktop, press Command+Shift+H to open your user account. Open the Downloads folder. It should be in there (along with anything else you've downloaded).
IT was buried in my downloads and took a lot of searching. Finally did a searchlight for Java 6 which was close enough. The file had a different name but I took a chance and installed it and my photoshop opened. Thank you.
