How can I make a genuis bar appointment. Apple has made it almost impossible to make an appointment from an off site compuer.

If you have an iDevice, it is easy: download the Apple store app and choose your store > make an appointment.
You might get there faster because you won't have any products showing. When I follow your link, it leads to the page listing all my products - partial screenshot here:
There are six products listed, complete with serial number. Choosing any one of them simply leads to the never ending questions/pages before you may or may not be offered the Genius Bar.
I give up on trying to get TinyMCE to properly display images - you get the idea
I know how to navigate the site - no need to display pages and pages of screenshots. None of my products produce the easy way to get a Genius Bar appointment, most likely because mine are all products I own and are registered and covered by Applecare.
mainly for the benefit of the OP... I know that you know how to navigate. Your 1st posting merely muddied the waters, IMHO
seems odd that because you have current products under AppleCare that you would be prevented from choosing the Genius Bar path...
time for some feedback perhaps?
Have you considered a "How to make a Genius Bar (with screenshots.) " user tip ? I'd make the screenshots a little bigger though. 🙂
all are full size... we computer users can click/tap(trackpad) and see 'em full size in the JiveImageViewer - in reality, the trick to getting to Genius Bar or phone call is to "fib a lot" (be purposely "ambiguous" in making choices)

I live less then 15 minutes from an Apple Store, I don't need an appointment. I walk in looking slightly dazed by all the new fangled computerizing machines until a youngin' takes pity on Pops and helps me. 🙂
I'm under 10 minutes by car to 3 stores... PARKING is the problem!! (remind me to wear my bike helmet and take a selfie!)
