Im stuck in "update requested" for about 2 weeks now. Ios 9.2.1 and i phone 6s plus. I don't have a computer to download this update on itunes.
Visit your local Apple Store, you'll get everything fixed.
Also, you can try these steps:
Try to reset your device. This won't delete your data stored on this device.
Alternatively, you may go to Settings - General - Reset - Reset All Settings
If this does not help, restore your device to factory settings. Note that this will erase the data from your device.

As a final step, try the recovery mode. Turn your device off, then plug it to your computer with the home button pressed. Keep the Home button pressed until you see the iTunes logo on the screen of your device. After that on your computer you should see the iTunes window saying your device needs to be restored to factory settings. Click on the restore button.
THank you for replying. I have done the 'reset all settings' and the ordinary reset which is home button + power button But to no avail. I am scared to try the erase all settings or recovery mode because of course it will all delete my apps tlf numbers and all. i dont know. Maybe I will just have to ignore this update request as it stucks here forever. Or I can visit apple store and they can help me.😐
