Q: iTunes Authorization

iTunes keeps telling me to authorize my computer but then tells me my apple id or password is wrong. When I reset it and try again it still tells me it is wrong. What do I do?

    Howdy bethanie123,

Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities.

From your post I understand you're getting prompted to authorize your computer for iTunes Store purchases, but it's telling you that your Apple ID or password is incorrect even after resetting it.  Given your description of the issue it appears that you likely have purchases on your computer that were made with another Apple ID, hence you being prompted to authorize for other purchases.  If you ever had another Apple ID and email address, you can use the Apple ID website linked below to help search for a forgotten Apple ID.

If you forgot your Apple ID

    Cheers.

Thanks - is it possible to have another log in if I have only ever had 1 email address?
