cisco phone adapter not receiving calls

I have a cisco SPA112 phone adapter connected to my Apple airport time capsule, I can ring out but can't receive calls. Rang up to Voip operator, absolutely useless, but said I needed to do something with my "net keep alive " can't find anything about that on the internet or the airport utility. Anybody got any ideas, if not next step is to change operators with one that gives power service.

VIN,iMac (27-inch Late 2009), OS X El Capitan (10.11.3)

You are having issues because Apple build the TC without UPNP .. It is not really the SPA112 fault.

What modem do you have? Make and model please.

Is it working in bridge or is it a router.. if it is not a pure modem type??

If the TC is in double NAT.. a method Apple recommend their customers nowadays.. incoming calls will definitely not work.

You need to port forward the required ports when you are not using upnp router.

It would be a lot easier and cheaper to change your router setup, if the TC is in router mode and the cause of the problem.
