csv file is corrupted
Hi,
I recently bought a macbook pro retina (OX El Captain, version 10.11.3) in the US.
I live in Brazil so here I need to use brazilian portuguese as my main language when writing excel spreadsheets.
Everytime I need to save an excel file as a cvs file, the cvs file is corrupted and all the words that have any kind of accentuation are transformed, because the cvs file is not reading the words with accentuation (that's what I presume).
I have already configured my mac as region Brazil and with portuguese language but everytime I save a file in a csv format, the file corrupts itself.
I tried downloading the csv file from google spreadsheet, I tried exporting it as cvs file on numbers, I tried on microsoft excel but it's still not working.
Everytime I open a cvs file in my mac it is corrupted even a file I receive by email and I don't know why that happens.
My coworkers have mac too and the cvs file is not corrupted when opened in their computers, only in mine.
In the image below the words on cells 1A and 1B should be "código" and "Seção".
Could you please help me? I have no idea what to do.
