iCloud music library keeps turning off

Every once in a while, I notice that iCloud Music Library (a.k.a. iTunes Match) has turned itself off in iTunes for Mac. This has been happening for quite some time—before Apple Music was released. Checking the box in iTunes Preferences fixes the problem, but why is it happening in the first place? Is anyone else having this problem?
