need to repair it in another country

I bought a magic mouse 2 through app store online in US and a friend of mine collected it there.

I live on the other side of the world and I want to know if I can change it in my country. There are only "authorized resellers".

If it is not possible, can I can do it in another country?

It was a big mistake to buy it like this.

I'm guessing that it was cheaper in the USA. But ... you should not be able to buy from the USA store if you reside in another country.


I am also guessing it doesn't work ... maybe because you have not or cannot upgrade to El Capitan 10.11.3.


Perhaps the friend who collected it for you could take it back but receipts and proof of purchase look to be another stumbling block.


While you could do it in another country, re-sellers do not operate under the same conditions as Apple Stores. I don't think they have the same obligations to exchange in the same way.
