Sharing an external DVD drive over the network.

Hi guys, I am using an old Macbook 2007 to run Snow Leopard Server 10.6 for my media collection, however the DVD drive in the macbook is no longer functioning, I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to share an external DVD drive over the network? This would be a real help as my main computer is a Macbook Mini and has no DVD drive. Being apple to share an external DVD drive with my server to both my MacMini and Macbook air would be a big help.

MacBook, OS X Server
