Why is Apple silently discarding mail send to my iCloud without warning?

I have a website and lately I noticed I started getting less and less email in my icloud inbox, after some digging I found out that iCloud is silently discarding a lot of mails coming from my website. they never reach my inbox, not even my spam folder.

according to my server the mail is accepted by icloud servers, no errors whatsoever and should be delivered to my inbox but instead i get nothing, not even a mail delivery report indicating a problem.

I would like to advise everyone to not use iCloud as long as this problem persist. this kind of practice is very problematic and makes icloud a very unreliable mail provider. you never know who may have tried to contact you and because the mail is silently discarded the sender never knows his email did not arrive.

What you describe is a well known issue, which you may already know of, as silent filtering -- http://www.macworld.com/article/2029570/silent-email-filtering-makes-icloud-an-u nreliable-option.html which is precisely one of the reasons I primarily use Gmail for my emailing needs.

However, in your case, if you wish to have this resolved, I urge you to contact Apple Support to inquire further as to why some of these important emails of yours are being blacklisted.
