Just wondering if anyone has any feedback on the compatibility of these two? This will be used with COX "Ultimate" high speed internet service, and is listed as an approved device for their service. Thanks

In theory this modem should work fine with the newer AirPort base stations. I see, from the manufacturer that this modem is capable of handling near 1 Gbps throughput so it should be able to handle anything that Cox (or any ISP) can provide at this time. On the other hand, just be aware that the maximum continuous throughput (data transfer rate) across the WAN/LAN interface of the latest AirPort base stations is around 575 - 600 Mbps so that would be your limiting factor.
