My Bose QC15 volume control on cord no longer working with my iPhone 5S

Hi there,


I wonder whether someone out there is experiencing the same issue as me. I am using a BOSE Headphones QC15 with an iPhone 5S IOS 9.2.1 and can no longer use the volume control on the cord to adjust the sound or pause a track or even pick up a call. All of those used to work fine and still do if I try with an iMac. Is the new IOS incompatible with the cord controls? I would appreciate some feedback.
