Sketch/Draw Feature Missing From Ipod 6 Notes - Please Respond

I have read in several places that the Notes App on the iPod 6th generation supports the Sketch/Drawing feature. However, mine seems to missing from my iPod 6th Generation (9.2.1). There are no upgrades for my Notes App and I have tried finding it in both the iCloud Notes and the On My iPod folders with no avail. Is this feature not available for iPod 6th Generation or is there something I can do?
