Q: Can i daisy chain connect mac mini and mac book pro to one thunderbolt display?

Hello,

I have a thunderbolt display connected to my Mac book pro and now I need a Mac Mini for separating my work computer from my personal computer. Is it possible to have the Mac Mini connected to the thunderbolt display and then hook the Mac Book Pro to the Mac Mini and in a daisy chain mode use two computer with one display?

I understand I might not be able to have them powered on at the same time but would it work?

Best regards

I do believe you can make a single cluster computer or form one into a slave computer

But if I were you then I would just set up screen share and not really worry about it.

I have a macbook which i like to take on the move a lot as a student and then remote connect to my server thus sharing the display.
