Remote case

Has anyone purchased and used a case for the siri remote yet and if so does using one restrict the use of the touchpad in any way.

Apple TV (4th generation), tvOS 9.1

Yes, I was forced to buy one because I shattered my first one. UGH!!! Why Apple decided to make a TV remote with GLASS is beyond me. @ $80 replacement cost I HIGHLY recommend getting a case.


Buy on Amazon. Some restrict the touchpad, but not enough to make it annoying. I have this one (Apple TV Remote Case):

I tend to leave it on the mantlepiece now and use the old silver one, except for siri and a few other rare occasions when the silver remote won't do what I want.


I'll probably get a case now, I was a bit concerned about it restricting the use of the touch pad for those few games we play, but we have a controller for those now anyway.
