I occasionally hear a rooster crowing on my iPhone at night. This is random but usually around 8pm.. I cannot find any app or setting causing this? Any suggestions?

Thanks for the thought. I checked that and no alarms set. I also checked notifications and sounds and etc. I saw a post that some widget might be the culprit?? I am going to shut one off a time to see. The problem is I haven;t determine a pattern of when it happens eg: this day, this time. I will start noting it and see if I can see a pattern.
Some app is making the noise for some reason. Unfortunately, the only way to determine which one is by disabling them. It's sounds as if you're making the right start. There is generally no easy way to do this.
You can also start by going into Settings>Notifications and seeing which apps have sounds enabled.
Did you download the clap to find your phone app? Mine started doing the rooster crow this morning and that's the only change I've made.
