Bootcamp AMD display drivers

I have a late 2014 27" iMac 5K and have windows 10 installed via Bootcamp.

The Only reason I have installed is to play a game, War Thunder. The game plays sort of OK but it could be way better if we could independently

Update the video card drivers ourselves.

When I want to upgrade it gives me the message.

"NO AMD HARDWARE SUPPORTED OR FOUND"

Why is that not possible or allowed?

And why is Apple not providing the Updates via bootcamp Update?

It seems that sometimes they either don't care or don't give a *&%$.

Seriously, the last time you updated was on Sept of last year.

Does anyone have a way to do it?

My card is a AMD Radeon R9 M290X

Thank you.

I have the exact same issue. I've tried deleting the AMD drivers, reinstalling and upgraded the iMac to El Capitan, redownloaded the latest support software and tried.

Nothing seems to work on this model, it's ridiculous. I've so far only tried to play Skyrim and Football Manager as a test for the system (hardly graphics intensive nowadays!) and they both run like a dog.

Not being able to reduce the resolution from 4K doesn't help either. I am thinking of rolling back to Windows 7 as that will hopefully resolve the W10 compatibility issue with the AMD drivers...

Does anyone have a resolution for this yet?

I Purchased the Macbook Pro Retina 2015 with the Radeon m370x Graphics card recently with the intention to be able to use Bootcamp to run certain Windows based programs as well as the native OSX environment for development.

The latest version of OSX came included with the Bootcamp Assistant program which I used to install Windows 10. After installing, I checked my system for the Display Driver and only a basic default windows display driver was found, not the Radeon m370x. I then downloaded a specific bootcamp driver from the AMD website but unfortunately this only allows the Radeon driver to be seen on the system but does not actually function properly. Bootcamp 6.0 as far as I can tell does not allow specific software or driver downloads.

Well I installed Windows 7 yesterday, and although a couple of issues with the Bluetooth keyboard, everything works like a dream now.

Games are running fine, I can adjust display resolution and change the brightness settings.

It's not really a workable solution using W7 in the long term but hopefully it'll do the job whilst waiting for the W10 driver issues to be sorted...

So, do you mean you are able to Freely Update your graphics card drivers

directly from AMD?

And you no longer get that ( AMD hardware not found error message?)

I willing to do that if that is the case.

Do you have a late 2014 27" imac 5K as well?

So I've just decided to try and upgrade to Windows 10 and am in exactly the same boat having upgraded from Windows 7.

It's a joke really, The W7 drivers don't work on W10 either it seems... I'm very surprised there's no way to resolve this, and nothing forthcoming from Apple or AMD.

The R290x card in this iMac seems ok, but if I can't run Windows I'll have to trade in for a new Windows machine...

The AMD Drivers version seems to be different in the package I just downloaded. It should be 15.200.1060.0000 .
