Q: new iphone 6s stuck on slide to upgrade when activating
so i've just got a new iphone 6s, started it up, everything was fine,
selected 'restore from icloud' and put it aside to let it do the job. when i came back to it, it was already stuck on the "slide to upgrade" screen.
i followed the steps on apple support, but it didn't work.
now i can't restore it by selecting 'device' in iTunes--> summary--> restore my iphone, because it would ask me to turn of find my iphone on icloud--- which i can't access because the phone wasn't fully operational, you see?
i tried turning it on to recovery mode (screen showing phone connecting to itunes), i got a message says 'your iphone can't be updated, you must restore it to factory settings'.
when i click on ''restore", a confirmation page pops up 'are you sure you want to restore...' blah blah, so i click on "restore and update" [there is only two options, 'cancel' or 'restore and update'].
then there's a bar on top of itunes saying 'extracting software'.
but in the end i got an error message saying "the iphone could not be restored. this device isn't eligible for the requested build".
i don't know what to do! Help please
