Airport Time Capsule HD Access

I have an Airport Time Capsule 802.11 AC 3TB, PartNumber: ME182LL/A, and I use it to backup my MacBook Air by Time Capsule app.

Aditionally, I use it as an external hard drive, moving some files to the Airport Time Capsule using Finder.

I use physical conection from my MacBook to the Time Capsule trough a RJ45-USB converter.

But I'm experiencing extremelly long time to access my files using Finder.

Do you have any idea of how I can fasten this connection?

I assume that your Mac has a Thunderbolt port.

Use a Thunderbolt to Ethernet adapter. It is up to 10 times faster than the USB adapter. Your actual speed will be 4-5 times faster than USB.
