Feb 3, 2016 1:15 PM in response to isobelcby Pmintz25,Macs have a really hard time connecting to wireless networks with a WEP password, as WEP is not very secure or supported. Perhaps that is the issue?
There isn't anything you can do if the network has WEP security.
You can try running Wireless Diagnostics. Search for it in Spotlight

Feb 4, 2016 12:27 PM in response to Pmintz25by isobelc,Hi
Just ran diagnostics and it said there is no WEP password. It did say the DNS was unresponsive but I've tried the above link before with no luck!
Thanks for your help though

Feb 4, 2016 12:37 PM in response to isobelcby Linc Davis,Please start up in Recovery mode. In the OS X Utilities screen, select Get Help Online. A clean copy of Safari will launch. No plugins, such as Flash, will be available. While in Recovery, you'll have no access to your saved bookmarks or passwords, so make a note of those before you begin, if they're needed for the test.
Test. After testing, restart as usual and post the results.
