Error Msg: when syncing new iPhone 6+ requires newer version of iTunes

The latest version of iTunes is 12.3.2, and it requires a later version of OS X. The latest version of iOS requires the latest version of iTunes. See the requirements for the Mac version of iTunes.

• iTunes Extras require OS X version 10.10.3 or later

Unless your current one will run a newer version. I'm not a Mac user, so I could not address that part of it. I can just give you what I can.

That reply was very informative but does not solve the problem. I had exactly the same issue and got around it by doing a backup to iCloud.

Then restore to the new iPhone 6S via the cloud. Most likely time to buy a new desktop with up to date operating system.

Well, I'm sorry, but the problem is that the OS for the computer does not support the latest version of iTunes. If you want to sync with iTunes, you are going to have to update the version of OS X. That is the answer.
