My new iMac does not seem to recognize my new Apple USB SuperDrive??
iMac (21.5-inch, Late 2015), iOS 9.2.1
Make sure it's plugged into the back of your iMac and make sure the black side is down. It won't show in the Finder until a disk is inserted.
Try putting a CD or DVD into the drive.
If that doesn't help, try plugging the SuperDrive into another USB port.
If that still doesn't help...? Take the SuperDrive back, ask for a refund and get a Mac compatible LG or OWC DVD drive.
