How do i reset my iTunes back up password pls?

Thanks a million Jay-Ray, i have been on this for over 10 hours now yet all efforts to no avail.
Is there any way i can contact the apple on this and get the issue resolved? need advice pls.
I'm sure you can contact them, but honestly I don't think there is anything more they will tell you as that encryption password is 100% local. There is no way to reset it.
Waow ! this leaves me confused as i've got lots of backed up data. anyway thanks a lot Jay for your concern and prompt response and please if you or anyone here thought of any other solution, please let me know. Cheers
