Run this test and post its results here.

Also, try the following basic troubleshooting steps.

Safe Boot:

- Shut down your Mac

- Wait until your computer turns off and after that press the Power button

- Right after you hear the startup tone, press and hold the Shift key

- Release the Shift key when you see a grey Apple sign and the progress bar below this sign

- After your Mac boots up, restart it as you usually do.

Take a look at this Apple article and follow the instructions on Resetting NVRAM shown there: How to Reset NVRAM on your Mac - Apple Support

Try resetting the System Management Controller: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201295

Hope this helps!

If there are indications of hardware damage or internal software problems

a good idea would be to return to the point of retail sale and see if they have

authorized Apple trained service providers. If from an official Apple Store,

the identification of the computer should be easy; the serial number & model

numbers are in your sales documentation.

And if the question is about performance, concerns about adware, odd issues

when trying to use the computer, then please re-state the issues in a question.

The two links to Apple Support previously posted (SMC reset, etc) are good

for a start if followed, as part of a troubleshooting method. If you are looking to

try fix an issue. You'd do well to describe the problem more exactly and also

be able to identify your exact computer model.

Apple ID is usually the same email address used to post to these discussions.

Good luck & happy computing! 🙂
