Feb 4, 2016 3:49 AM in response to malcolmwrby dilbert41,Sounds like your phone e-mail was set up as IMAP. Delete the account on your phone and set it up again as a POP account (like your iPad).

Feb 4, 2016 4:33 AM in response to malcolmwrby malcolmwr,What I think you have to do is to start to create a new account, but put in the wrong password. You then get the chance to correct the "assumptions" which include the IMAP/POP selection, then put in the correct passwords, both incoming and outgoing and then I think it works.
