I hope someone can help advise me.
I require the adhesive seal that goes around iMac 21.5 inch screen. I need to know how thick the seal should be.
I'm unable to get this information from any resellers

Why would you want to substitute the proper tape kit with something different....?
Because I would be worried that the substitute tape would either not hold or worse hold to tight and make it hard to reopen without breaking the glass.

I don't want to use substitute tape, I want to use the proper stuff.
The problem i'm having is availability here in the UK.
Could you recommend a reseller to sells the correct seal for the monitor.
Don't think that the resellers will have or sell a tape kit to you.
Do a google search of part # 076-1437 and order it for an on line parts supplier like the bookyard that I posted above.
