wifi self-assigned ip 169...

The problem occurred on a fresh installed os x.


When manually add iPv4 Address, Subnet Mask, Router the wifi icon goes green and it says "connected", but there is no connection to the internet or "192.168.0.1"

in the browser loading page looks like it's trying to do something, but it's stays like this

I installed Bootcamp and wifi connected without problem.

I have installed Parallels, but the problem occurred before i installed it.

iMac (21.5-inch Mid 2011), OS X El Capitan (10.11.3)

1. The security mode in the router settings should be "WPA 2 Personal." If it doesn't support that mode, you need a new router.

2. Some third-party routers have advanced settings that you may need to change:

The encryption algorithm should be AES.

The group-key interval should be 3200.

3. In the Network preference pane, configure the TCP/IP settings manually, then switch to DHCP. When you enter an IPv4 address manually, you must be sure the address is not already in use by another device on the network.
