Macbook air will not turn on unless the lid is closed.

My MBA act vey wired.

1. When I pressed the power button, it will not turn on, unless the lid is closed.

2. Sometimes, with the same step mentioned above, it will not turn on, unless the charger is disconnected.

3. I tried to reset SMC, but I got no response or failed.

4. When the MBA is inactivity for a while, it shut down automattically instead of sleeping, which is the way it is used to be worked.

5. I erased the disk and reinstalled the OS. The problem still exist.

Anyone expert ? Please help
