It takes three tries to sign in to icloud.

Win 10, using firefox or chrome, I have icloud mail sign in issues. The first try, the popup says that I cannot connect to server. I have repeatedly sent the error to apple, they're probably tired of hearing from me. The second try it says cannot load mail and pops back to the login screen. The third time it logs in correctly. This has happened repeatedly but only started in the last week or so. Any idea what might be the cause/solution? thanks, Dan
