How to make a lead sheet/get chord symbols to show above a melody?

Hello,

Does anyone know how to make a lead sheet in Logic? How do you make the chord symbols appear above the melody?

Thank you!

To change to a lead sheet. Change the staff style from whatever you have to "lead sheet"...

For Chords,

select chords from the part box and drag the chord object over top the first note you want the chord associated with and type in the name of the chord. You can then hit return and drag over another one, etc, etc.....

or

you can drag over the first one and instead hit the tab key to move to the next beat, tab again to move to the next beat etc. and where you want a chord just type it in and when done hit tab to keep moving beat by beat...... See quick sample below....
