If you can't send or receive messages on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
usually if the group text includes all Apple devices then the text color would be blue.
you can only add people to a group imessage.
The issue seems to be with the other contacts phone and not yours.
The green bubble indicates to me that someone has imessage turned off or are in an area with a weak wifi or cellular data signal or doesn't have MMS turned on.

Feb 4, 2016 1:39 PM in response to razmee209by Melinda Lyons,Thank you. I will check with them and make sure. It's strange, because one of the gals who doesn't get my group texts does get them from other people who send them to her. From what you are saying, in a group, everyone must have MMS turned on if one person in the group is not on an iphone?

Correct MMS needs to be turn on for everyone, if there is a non Apple user in the group.
