Is it possible to hear a Bluetooth speaker and the internal speakers at the same time on the iMac with OSX 10.11.2 ?
I only can have either my Bluetooth speaker on or my internal speakers on in my Sound System Preferences output.
Is there a way to have both of them on at the same time?
Thank you for your patient 🙂

This worked for me you might want to give it a try.:

First go to Utilities and open "Audio MIDI Setup"

User uploaded file

It should bring up this window listing all your audio devices listed in the column on the left.

Click on the + in the lower left and choose "Create Multi-Output Device" and check the boxes for the speakers you want to use.

Next open "System Preferences" And click on "Sound"

Goto "Output" and choose "Multi-Output Device"

and that should be it.

Good Luck

One thing, when I use the Multi-Output device I can't change the volume, it keeps the volume settings of each speaker from before the Multi-Output was activated. So you might want to set your desired volume on each speaker before you select the Multi-Output device. Once you switch back to a single device you'll be able to change the volume again. Hope this this helped
