iTunes not syncing music

hello all. Been awhile since I've last synced music to my phone from my computer, most music has been purchased through the store. I have 2 new songs I got for free online and itunes just isn't shncing them


I've tried restarting both phone and computer, closed iTunes, unchecked then rechecked song, unchecked manually stnc music. None of these have worked.


insanely frustrating. Please help

I understand from your post that you have a few songs that are unable to be synced to your iPhone. Given the troubleshooting you've already done, I next suggest that you reset the music syncing in iTunes. To do this, you will need to disable the Sync Music option in iTunes, apply, and then enable the Sync Music option. Doing this will remove your synced music from the iPhone, and will then add it back.


  1. In iTunes, select your iPhone
  2. On the sidebar to the left, click on Music under Settings
  3. Uncheck Sync Music, click Remove
  4. Click Apply
  5. Once the sync process is complete, check Sync Music
  6. Click Apply
