apple tv keeps insisting on verifying credit card details on computer

I keep getting following message screen

"Verification Required

Before you can make purchases, you must go to the iTunes Store on your computer and verify your payment information "

no matter what I try . I've tried multiple credit cards .

They all work on other devices of apple that I own, except apple TV.

Help !!!
