Are most apps that are available on my iPhone available with the new Apple TV. Specifically the AMC app. Currently with my 3rd Gen Apple TV, I have to airplay from my phone to the Apple TV. The Apple TV wigs out during the commercial breaks. Thanks.

No the majority of apps available for the phone are not available for the Apple TV.
The AMC website does not claim to be available on the Apple TV.
