Safari and google chrome will redirect me to yahoo. I have run malwarebytes and reset preference settings but still both web browsers will redirect me to yahoo. Can anyone tell me how to fix this problem. Thanks so much.
MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch,Early 2015), iOS 9.2.1
1. Safari > Preferences > Extensions
Disable all extensions and test.
Enable Extensions one by one and test.
To uninstall any extension, select it and click the “Uninstall” button.
2. Safari > Preferences > Search > Search Engine :
Select your preferred search engine.
3. Safari > Preferences > General > Homepage:
Set your Homepage.
4. Restart the Mac.
Try restarting in recovery mode (hold command-R at startup). Once in recovery mode, there will be four options, one of which is Get Help Online. Click that.
This will open a fresh copy of Safari on a fresh system. Does the problem still happen in this copy of Safari?

Thank you for your reply, I had adware on the computer, malwarebytes was helpful in removing problem except I needed to change search preferences back to google, I'm fairly new to the mac world, so I do appreciate the advice
