Sync music list from my ipod touch to ipad mini

Hello,

I have my music list on my itouch gen 2 and want to sync to an ipad mini 2. My itunes do not have any music in the playlist. When I plug in my ipod touch, itunes doesn't ask if I want to import my music list to itunes. How to sync from itouch to itunes than ipad mini2? Is it possible to go from ios 5 to ios9 syncing music? I have no problem adding music from my pc to itunes than itouch.

Thank you

iPod touch, iOS 5.1.1

I'm sorry I have read the link and still don't understand how to sync my music list back to my iTunes. On iTunes I have no saved playlist. I never save my playlist. I do not like to make a playlist for individual songs.. I like to only transfer album artist from my downloaded music. Than I would scroll through artists and choose the album I want to listen to. i haven't purchased anything from iTunes Store, so worried about recovery those. I'm not worried about podcasts. I tried backing up my ipod touch on iTunes than recover from my iPod mini. Nothing has transfer from the back up to mu iPad mini. No music, or pictures. I'm only worried about my music. I have about 20gb of music. It will take a lot of time to manually add all those music again. I'm still confused on which procedures I should do.

THank you,
