Just noticed this the other day, The ipad has a tiny blue dot in the upper left corner. My warranty is up in a few days so if this is an issue thats needs repair I would like to take care of it. What is this?

Sounds like a broken pixel. Regular computer monitor LCDs get these all the time. I've never seen one on an iPad, but I don't see why it couldn't happen.
