how do i authorise another computer to play purchased songs?

I have recently changed computers and I went to sync some more songs onto my IPod. However it says the songs I have purchased from the ITunes Store can only be played and viewed from one computer which is my old one. It states if I go onto the store menu I can change it but I can't find how to do it anywhere! Can anybody help me please!

For a computer running Mac OS X, move the cursor to the very top of the computer's screen, click on Store or Account in the menu bar, and choose Authorize this Computer.

For a computer running Windows, clickhere, follow the instructions, click on Store or Account in the menu bar, and choose Authorize this Computer.
