Q: dont know the previous owner of the phone. i purchased this phone for my 11 yr old son. and cant get it to activate. plz help!!

trying to activate an iphone 4 purchased for my 11 yr old. and i have no way of finding or even knowing the previous owner to find them. i called the number on the phone and they no longer have that number. plz help with this issue. my son worked hard all week and hate to tell him no phone. thanks...

Return it for a refund if you can. If you can't, you purchased a brick. There is a very high likelihood that it's stolen. Turn it over to the police if you can't get your money back.

There is no way unless you involve the previous owner, and you can't do that. So take it back where you got it and get a refund.
