Since my last iTunes update i can no longer convert AAC to MP3
As i have problems with my iPod...it just freezing up every now and then i just want to have my favourite playlists on CD in my car.
But since the last update i agreed to, Apple has seen fit to only allow you to create an AAC from the already AAC file.
I have itunes11.4 (18)
Must admit i'm getting sick of Apple

What is the "Kind" of the file you are trying to convert?

Why no buy MP3 files from Amazon? Quality is better than copies converted from another compressed format, iTunes can play them, so there is really no need for AAC files at all that I can see. The best cure for Apple sickness is less Apple!

Thank you....i changed the preference and seems to have worked.
Don't know why when i last updated it, it changed but all sorted now.
