If your phone doesn't power on how are you suppose to back it up?

You cannot. You would have needed to make sure you were doing regular backups prior to your problem.

Okay, glad you got it taken care of. Without knowing anything but your original question, it is difficult to provide other alternatives. Anyway, it is working, so I happy for that.

Great! Now would be a good time to enable automatic iCloud backups. Connect your phone to power overnight. Once your turn on Backup in Settings/iCloud the phone will back up daily when connected to power, WiFi and the screen is locked.
