ISSUE: No htaccess login box

Group,

I have an htaccess password protect setup on my website for some pdf files. When I view the pdf files on my Macbook Pro using Safari the login box shows up asking for the user name and password just fine every time, same when trying this on my iPad. However, when I try this on my iPhone also using Safari, all I get is a blank white page with no address in the address bar.

Anyone know what might be causing this and how I can get this to work?

Thanks,

Doug
