My iPhone 5s screen won't orientate

I've had my iPhone for about 2 months and I have noticed that when i tried to watch a Youtube video, my screen wouldn't rotate. Then I tried playing game and my character would not move when i moved my phone. I looked online and I couldn't find anything on this subject.
