Device locked out

Just recently purchased new iPhone 6s and had it set up with BIO lock. This Am it is asking for a numeric 6 number code to unlock. How is this reset or disabled?

iPhone 6s, iOS 9.0.2

I understand that your new iPhone is now asking for a 6 digit passcode to unlock the device. This 6 digit passcode would've been entered when initially setting up the iPhone and is used as a backup in a situation where you're not able to unlock the device via Touch ID. If you don't recall this password, the article linked below details a number of steps that can help restore access to the device.
