unable to write on ntfs hard drive

Hi,

I use Tuxera 2011.4.2 with OS X El Capitan.

It always worked (with all the version I had on my MacBook, including El Capitan) until today.

Now, when I connect a NTFS hard drive, I only have a read only access. I don't understand why.

I can't uninstall Tuxera, the "Uninstall Button" is masked.

I also noticed that MenuMeters stopped to work.

Both apps (MenuMeters and Tuxera) are located at the same place in System Preferences.

Does the issues could be linked ?

Thanks for the help !

This is what the Menumeters website says:

Unless Apple makes the signature restriction optional, it is not clear that MenuMeters in its present form can ever be made compatible with OS X 10.11.

In the meantime I can only suggest that you do not install 10.11 if you wish to use MenuMeters.

So it may be that is what causes it. Uninstall menumeters and restart the mac.

It is probably not caused by Tuxeira itself because that is compatible with 10.11. Check that you have the latest version.
