SMB has to be stopped and started again

Hi,

I do use a HP Laserprinter for scanning documents. I do have set up a folder, username and password to allow the printer to store

the scans in to a online folder. This works fine for a couple of times, but at least the next day the printer complains, that it has no network

access.

Typing the following 2 commands from a terminal, reenables all.

sudo serveradmin stop smb

sudo serveradmin start smb

Does anyone have an idea, what could be the cause that SMB stops working normally?
