Lost panorama photo while editing

I was on my iphone 6, editing a once in a lifetime panorama photograph.

My iphone keeps the photos copied to the cloud with only basic images on the handest.

Was trying to edit the image with different light effects

Then decided to press revert to put it back to how it was

The image then disappeared from the handset and icloud.

Any ideas appreciated

It was not in the deleted.

Have logged into icloud.com

image gone from panorama's on there too

Not happy Apple...
