I have an existing folder in i cloud contains spread sheets,.Since updating to el captan I can still compile spread sheets in icloud
using the same template ,but I can't drop into the folder. If I make a new folder in iCloud I still cannot drop new spread sheets in which means it is no use for future entries..

Thanks Eric, I liked but I have 4.99GB available since I had a clear out of redundant pictures. At present these spreadsheets are all I have stored.
Please excuse typing error. I meant "I looked".
I think I will remove all the new input from iCloud and start again. I suspect it is something blisteringly simple and obvious.
You are welcome. Long shot - try signing out of iCloud and then sign back in.
